Information we collect
If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, enquiry type and message. Providing your organisation is optional. We do not collect this information if you do not submit the form.
Our web server processes your IP address to deliver the site and protect the contact form from abuse. Our analytics does not identify you or store information on your device. See the cookies and storage page.
Lawful basis
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR. Our legitimate interest is responding to an enquiry that you choose to send. We do not rely on consent for this processing.
Legitimate interests assessment
- Purpose: to respond to press, partnership, careers and round-verification enquiries.
- Necessity: we need your contact details and message to understand, route and respond to your enquiry. Optional information is not required.
- Balance: you initiate the contact and we collect only the information needed to respond. We do not use it for marketing, profiling or sale. We therefore consider that this processing does not override your rights and interests.
Service providers
| Provider | Role | What they process |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Data processor: hosting, CDN, bot protection and privacy-preserving analytics | Your IP address and request metadata while serving the site and checking the form is not being submitted by a bot |
Cloudflare acts under written processor terms and on our instructions. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.
Transfers outside the UK
Cloudflare is headquartered in the United States and may process data outside the UK. Our mailbox is hosted in the EU. Where data leaves the UK, transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with each provider's technical and organisational safeguards.
How long we keep it
There is no database. Your enquiry exists only as an email in our mailbox. We keep enquiry correspondence for 24 months from the last message in the thread, then delete it, unless it has become part of a contract or a live matter we are required to retain.
Is providing data mandatory?
No. There is no statutory or contractual requirement to contact us. If you do not submit the form, we will not receive or respond to an enquiry.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability. Because our basis is legitimate interests, you have a particular right to object under Article 21. If you object, we will stop processing unless we have compelling grounds not to, which for a contact enquiry we generally will not.
Ask us through the contact form. We reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making. Turnstile assesses whether a form submission appears automated. It does not make decisions about you. A failed check prevents the form from being submitted.
